Wings of War

"Wings of War is a World War-I themed flight combat game from an unknown Czech developer that arrived with virtually no publicity and a budget price tag. Not exactly a pedigree that inspires much confidence in the final product. Against the odds, however, Wings of War turns out to be a pleasant surprise. It's a solid, polished action game set in a refreshingly underused era. Erik Wolpaw,, GameSpot

FM-Tables  (Date: 15. October 2004).           Click here to download (38 kB)

This are modified Flight Model Tables worked by Boandlgramer, which make feel WoW more realistic ( = less arcadish). It contains a new FM model, as well as more realistic guns (less distance) and puts the real names of the planes in the hangar (english and german versions only)

This FM is still under test and in developement, and will be updated (daily if aplicable), so don't forgetto check from time to time for newer versions.

To install, make sure your WoW path has a folder called "Tables" (if not, create it), unzip the downloaded  file and copy the contained files:

gun.tbl

plane.tbl

u000.bin

u049.bin

in the mentioned "Tables" folder.

If you want to restore the original FM, rename the copied files, for example adding an extension (i.e.".disabled") or simply delete them!

Sounds             Click here to download (1.145 kB)

Here are new sounds for the Planes: There are 3 InLine sounds and one Rotary sound. I also reduced the wind loudness about 2dB, becaus I found it a bit too loud. Unzip the file and read the D4-Sounds4WoW-Readme.txt to install or deinstall. Some of this are based on sounds from RB. My favourite for Inline motor planes is #3!
